An incredibly thorough and systematic introduction to the text that gave a detailed walk through of the play and covered the various Assessment Outcomes necessary.
I particularly appreciated the thorough walk-through section. It broke down each particular segment and gave a detailed analysis of the action, relating it to wider themes and concerns. I thought the questions after each of these sections were particularly insightful to help pupils think through the issues raised in more detail.
There were a number of opportunities for pupils to research into various topics in more detail. The various hyperlinks to particular articles allowed in-built differentiation to encourage more able pupils to expand their knowledge without over-burdening pupils who might just need a more basic approach to the text.
The resource met the specification very well – it gave a dedicated section for each particular Assessment Outcome which explored how to incorporate criticism and context and discussed its relevance.
I would be very happy giving this to pupils to support their study of the text and also to develop their own knowledge and understanding.
A godsend for the busy teacher as it contains not only detailed knowledge but also a huge number of different activities that could be used and incorporated into teaching. – J Hathaway, Head of English & Peer Reviewer
