I particularly like the differentiated support than would allow weaker students to access the material and make the reading actually enjoyable. I really like the scaffolding of activities in the build up previous to the reading, the fact that it enables students to access grammatical concepts and the fact that it allows students to practise the grammatical point so that it is not only based on reading comprehension. Students would identify themselves with the characters and although it makes sense to read all 6, it is possible to use just one or 2 stories to fit in with the demands of the curriculum. – R Bravo, Spanish Teacher and Independent Reviewer
I liked the logical step by step/scaffolded/supportive grammar approach. It’s unusual to find a foreign language resource that students can use completely independently and I this enables them to work completely on their own. The initial skills to encourage them to look for cognates and work out meaning were good. It incorporates new skills such as translation in line with recent changes and the new GCSE exams. – L Perry, Head of Spanish and Independent Reviewer
It’s well-made and very useful. The use of Spanish is impecable and the exercises are very well-focused. – Laura de G., MFL Teacher and Independent Reviewer
